Disaster Services Human Resource (DSHR)

The DSHR system is the pool of trained volunteers that are used for callup for Local, State, or National Disasters. Each DSHR member is allowed to pick three areas that can be used for their specialty training. Their first choice is considered their main specialty. When they are called and agree to serve on a disaster, they are provided with transportation to the site, an allowance for lodging, food, and personal items, required to maintain them while at the remote location.
